Beam
  • A large spool or roll, about three feet in diameter, on which WARP or cloth is wound.
  • To wind yarn from a dyed BALL WARP onto a SECTION BEAM.
  • Beam
    A cylinder of wood or metal, usually with a circular flange on each end, on which warp yarns are wounded up for slashing, weaving and warp knitting.
