Lacquer thinner
A general-purpose solvent is for thinning high quality wood finishing lacquers. It is not suitable as an acrylic or automotive thinner. But is an excellent degreasing and cleaning solvent for shop use. A mixture of highly volatile solvents, miscible in water, of varying composition and properties depending on the manufacturer. Can include Acetone (2-propanone) Toluene (methyl Benzene) Isopropyl alcohol (Isopropanol) MEK (2-Butanone) Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) 2-Butoxyethanol
